Poem

A world full of wrinkles
Scars bold as a prints
Minds full of self
The length of our nose
Shows how far it is

Wallowing in dirt
Oblivious of the stench
Chasing after nothing
Grasping the air

‘Unholy’, ‘Filthy’ they cussed
‘Irukan ni wa’, i shouted back
We are all the same
In different shades,shapes and colours

Venting all energy after nothing
Almost drowning in my own shit
Brought out of the miry clay
Being cleansed and reprieved
Knew it could only have been Grace

Undeserving of this love
Yet swimming in an ocean of grace
given enough excuses
Tolerated of all my excesses

My mouth was opened
As grace was poured into my lips
Blessed I am,
I am graced…
where sin abound
Grace did much more abound

What does grace means to you?
