Her husband came to the wardrobe, patted her back, and said, “Well done, Mama Church, well done.” She faked a smile at him as he walked away.
He paid no attention to her anymore; he was so engrossed in himself, but isn’t love about the other person, the other person first?
1 Corinthians 13:3 MSG—Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t reveal when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
His dress sense, the growing church, and the popularity he was getting were all getting to him. She had prayed every day, but he seems not to notice her anymore. Which made her resort to dressing sad, if there was anything like that. One thing about humans was that once you changed or stopped doing what you used to do, they would forget who you were and criticize you for changing. She had heard a lot of things about her because people had noticed, but the person’s attention she wanted was focused on something else: her husband.

Patricia had planned all she would do in her heart; she concluded that she was in love with Pastor Lanre, and he seemed not into his wife anymore. Didn’t the Bible say the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force? This was her kingdom of God, and she was taking it by force.
She would go into his office to tell him her mind. This was her chance, and she wouldn’t miss it.
There are many young ladies like Patricia, whose aim is to bring down a man of God. Isn’t it witchcraft to lust after a married man? It’s okay to admire them, but lust to the extent of praying for him to leave his wife because of some little deficiencies. These little foxes can spoil and destroy the vine. These foxes can be a hindrance to single ladies like Patricia from getting the right man because she is looking at the wrong place.
Someone once said the fall of a dry tree is a warning to the green ones. Pray for your spouse now, and begin to take charge in the spirit realm even if you have not met yet. Proverbs 6:25 KJV – Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Mrs. George was praying for her husband’s attention, which was a pain in her heart. When you notice anything in your spouse that is hurting you, pray about it, and pray that the change in your partner will be for good. Pray that the love of Christ would not wax cold. Pray that they will love you as Christ loves the Church.
And to those not married, pray for your intended spouse; pray for him or her even if you have not met.
Pray oooo, pray…
