Matthew 25:14- 30 brings to mind how we have been given talents according to our abilities.
You keep wondering, “why the jealousy? Why the hate and strive?” This is what happens when people begin to hate their neighbor because he/she is using their talents and gift judiciously well.
One of the things I’d like to write is that every human has more than a talent. Why not tap into it. That hidden talent that you have, nuture it and see how it bloom.
You don’t have to compare and work at the pace of others. God trains us at His own will. All because that your friend or colleague has a gift and is successful in it doesn’t mean you should also venture into it. Is it your gift? Is it your talent?
The talent you have, have you sat down to to think of how to harness and use it. So why is it that your friend’s own that is ‘entering your eyes’. That is covetousness and it is not good.
Matt 25:15 ‘And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one;to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey’
Each talents given unto us is according to our ability. God knows ‘Taiwo’ can handle ten talents that is why he gave her. And he has given her the ability to use it.
It is more talent, more grace. More grace, more battles.
As much as you think your talent isn’t yielding at this stage, continue to groom it. You see, all those people at the top groomed theirs also. You don’t have to rush the process, God is training you.
That your hidden talent, pick it up and use it. Do not allow it to rust away. Use it for the glory of your maker. Be diligent, so you can stand before Kings.
Live your dream; don’t live someone else’s dreams. So you won’t regret living someone else’s life. If you’re getting tired or wearing out. Speak to the Lord to refire you.
Like someone said, “It is better to wear out for Jesus Christ than to rust out”. Don’t stop until you are finished.
Happy new month, peeps. The Lord has a lot of things in store for us. Stay blessed.
